A downtown condo owner was preparing their unit for sale and wanted every ceiling repainted, the kitchen and backsplash cleaned and the balcony glass and sliding door tracks restored.
We masked floors and windows, primed stained areas with a stain-blocking primer, painted all ceilings and reinstalled the light fixtures, then cleaned the balcony louvers, glass and door tracks.
Project goals
The work had to follow building rules on hours and elevator use, and the finish had to photograph well for the listing.
stain-blocking primer
Primer applied to discolored areas so the new ceiling paint stays uniform.
balcony and glass detail
Louvers, glass and sliding door tracks cleaned for listing photos.
Project challenges
High-rise work means limited elevator windows and no overspray near windows and balcony doors.
- building work-hour restrictions
- protecting floors and windows
- removing and reinstalling light fixtures
- cleaning sliding door tracks
The result
The unit was photographed the following week with bright, uniform ceilings and spotless balcony glass. Planning something similar? Read more about our House Painting service or request a free estimate.
