A Gulfport landlord needed a dated one-bedroom unit turned around between tenants. The galley kitchen had old yellow tile walls, worn flooring and a damaged wall section, and the living room needed new floors and fresh paint.
Over two weeks we hung and finished new drywall, laid large-format porcelain tile with a leveling system, installed a new granite-look counter section and stainless sink, added a tile backsplash and painted the whole unit.
Project goals
The owner wanted durable, easy-to-clean finishes that would survive several tenancies.
porcelain floor tile
Large-format tile laid with a leveling system for flat, tight joints.
new drywall and paint
Damaged walls replaced, finished and painted in a neutral rental-friendly color.
Project challenges
The unit had to be ready for a new tenant on a fixed date, and the galley layout left little room to work and stage materials.
- fixed move-in deadline
- tight galley layout for tile work
- leveling an uneven slab before tiling
- coordinating counter and sink install
The result
The unit was finished on schedule and rented within a week of listing. Planning something similar? Read more about our Floor Repair service or request a free estimate.
